Description

• Marketing and distributing equity derivatives, including delta one products, vanilla options, structured derivatives, QIS, etc. in Japan.
• Provide support on Japanese client development and onboarding.
• Work closely with structuring and trading teams to develop customized product solutions for financial institutions, distributors, and asset managers in Japan.
• Leverage global sales teams to increase cross-selling and enhance business relationships with the overseas offices of Japanese clients.
• Act as a solution sales professional, sometimes going beyond EQD products by collaborating with other departments to expand both client and firm business opportunities.
• Design, propose, execute, and ensure smooth post-trade operations for transactions, taking into account internal resources, capabilities, and external regulatory environments.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and evolving client needs to proactively identify new business opportunities and propose innovative equity derivative solutions.
• Maintain high standards of compliance and risk management throughout the sales process, ensuring all activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in derivatives-related trading, structuring, sales, or IT development
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Analyst level
• Good command of programming in Python would be an advantage
• Demonstrated familiarity with derivatives products and regulatory environments
• Strong client serving skills
• A team player with enthusiastic mind
• Fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and English
• Excellent command of Mandarin would be an advantage
• Certified as CMA and CFA
